The IPDA (Integrated Project Delivery Alliance) is a not-for-profit action-oriented alliance of like-minded organizations and individuals coming together to create solid foundations for collective success. Founded in February 2015, the IPDA explores and supports emergent practices demonstrating enhanced industry outcomes and provides a forum for the exchange of knowledge.
Initiatives have included promoting industry wide changes through collaboration with industry partners like the insurance industry to see unique insurance products developed to better respond to IPD. The Alliance has led investment of over $600,000 in research on IPD including our most recent being “Adoption of IPD in Canada: Barriers, Challenges, Benefits and Opportunities for Implementation” - a collaboration with the University of British Columbia (UBC) focused on Canadian IPD projects. This is the most recent of our research initiatives which deals with perceived barriers in both the private and public sectors. The research document can be found on our website at www.ipda.ca
